Bombay Sapphire Bramble Cocktail

Method:
Build in a clean tumbler glass - Squeeze fresh lemon juice into glass, add sugar and Bombay Sapphire. Stir.

Add crushed ice, Stir again (churn). Add more crushed ice to near top of glass and stir for a final time.

Garnish with a slice lemon and 2 Blackberries or 3 Raspberries and 2 clear short straws.

Lace with the Creme de Mure or Chambord.

Serve with a smile and enjoy!

Notes:
The legendary Bramble was designed by Dick Bradsell in the mid 1980's and found of the menu at Frederick's club in Soho, London using Bombay Sapphire. I'm sure he's still often asked for them at El Camino where he is currently tending bar.

This cocktail draws out the lemon peel botanical in Bombay Sapphire. Also the Grains of Paradise and Cubeb Berries complement the bramble family flavouring - Creme de Mure (blackberry liqueur). The Bramble displays fantastic fruity and rooty flavours and is refined and delicately balanced.

Why? Who doesn't love this great cocktail by a mixology legend.
