Description:
A gentle, yellow-green colour of remarkable clarity. The marriage of the cosmopolitan and fragrant Sauvignon with the Greek Assyrtiko produces a wine with a powerful aroma redolent of exotic fruit, peach and citrus. A rich, cool and beautifully balanced flavour, pleasant acidity and a lasting, fragrant aftertaste.

"The 2011 Estate white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (60) and Assyrtiko (40)... is thrilling in a certain sense, but powerful enough and distinctive enough to make some noses wrinkle... Lovers of this grape in all its grassy, herbaceous Loire-style glory will sure gravitate to this. It is classic and intensely flavourful as well, with fine acidity. Its mid-palate is elegant, but the wine seems quite persistent. If this is what you like - you'll adore it. For my money, it will likely be at its best when young and fresh." - Wine Advocate
