The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils at an altitude between 250 and 550 meters in the areas of Ora, Tramin and Egna. The grapes for this wine were harvested in small bins and then gently pressed off to steel tanks where the must was allowed to ferment at controlled temperature (19 C) without malolactic fermentation.

Pinot Bianco is part of the Burgundian Pinot family and is related to Pinot Grigio and the principal grape of Pinot family, Pinot Noir. As a wine, Pinot Blanc feels fresh and rich yet dry. It has a greenish yellow to light yellow colour and light scents of green apple. The wine also shows a complex nutty flavour and hints of green leaves. It feels balanced between richness of texture and bright acidity.
Pairings for Pinot Blanc include light starters, fish or white meat. It also works as an aperitif.
