Antonio Carpene founded his winery in 1860, having been fascinated with Champagne. A qualified chemist, he was in contact with Pasteur and Koch and was firmly convinced that a similar wine could be produced in Italy. He applied his knowledge to the Prosecco grape (now known as Glera), the majestic variety of the Conegliano and Valdobbiadene zone. Over 130 years of history, embracing four generations of the family, testify to Carpene Malvolti's dedication to product quality and they are unquestionably one of the leading producers.

Carpene Malvolti Prosecco Frizzante is a lightly sparkling, delicate aperitif wine. Made with the aromatic Prosecco grape, this bubbly is packed full of delicate apple and white flower aromas, with a light-bodied palate

It is perfect as an aperitif, excellent with light pasta or rice dishes. Very good for the whole meal. Recommended serving temperature: 6-8 C

Producer Information

Passion & tradition, research & innovation handed down from father to son for 140 years: this is Carpene Malvolti, the first company to submit quality Prosecco to the sparkling process, and a brand that is a leader in this field both in Italy & abroad. It was founded in 1868 by Antonio Carpene, who dreamt of producing a bubbly wine with the grapes harvested from the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. This dream has become a mission: producing high quality sparkling wine at each grape harvest. A dream that is still coming true today, day by day.
