Description:
Delicate crimson and garnet ruby colour. The plum, mulberry and blackcurrant aromas cascade out of the glass bringing high notes of rose and violet. Savoury ironstone and tobacco complete the classic aroma profile of Diana Madeline. Fine grained tannin with uplifting and sustained fruit notes. Red fruit and plum flavours connect with the ironstone minerality, providing backbone and structure. This medium bodied elegance is deceptive as the depth and length on the palate are profound. Drink now and up to 40 years.

Producer Information

Cullen`s 28 hectares of vineyards are located in the Wilyabrup part of Margaret River. Founded in 1965 by Di and Kevin Cullen, the winemaking is now managed by their daughter Vanya. Passion and a strong sense of responsibility to the land define Vanya`s biodynamic approach to viticulture, while pioneering environmental initiatives led to Cullen becoming Australia`s first carbon neutral winery in 2007.
