Producer Information

Charles Back, the owner of Fairview, is also the man behind Goats do Roam, the fruit for which is sourced primarily from Paarl, Malmesbury and Paardeberg.
The newly packaged Goats in Villages Viogner is now 100% Viognier with 30% barrel fermented fruit, underlining Charles' commitment to increasing the quality of this range. The structured, impressive Goats in Villages Red became a Shiraz/Pinotage blend with the 2006 vintage. The Goatfather is an Italian style blend of Barbera and Primitivo with Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot adding spice and a plummy character.
Quirky in all but quality, the Goats do Roam wines are seriously good.
