Producer Information

Named after St Bayou, a 3rd Century Christian martyr who was ripped to shreds by lions in the Roman arena at nearby Nimes, St Baillon is one of the very best producers of Provencal rose. Former lawyer, Herve Goudard bought the estate in 1980 and has spent the last three decades improving the quality of the vineyards whilst tirelessly promoting Provencal wines as being among France's very best. Many a magnum or jeroboam of the Reserve du Chateau has been known to enliven a Bibendum summer party.
