Review: A very smooth drink. I prefer completely straight - not even with ice. An absolute bargain at its low price too.

Review: My Father has always been an ardent Glenfiddich drinker - always their 12 year old until a very nice offer in Duty Free bought us a selection to try. Though he prefers the Solera Reserve 15 year old, I personally find this much the best of the Glenfiddich cannon - incredibly soft and subtle on the palate, with a sharp but not bitter tang of green fruit and a lovely slow, delicate finish make it a drink to savour, especially with a good cheeseboard.
Glenfiddich distillery was founded by William Grant in 1887.
But their story is still being written today, not just by William's descendants, who still own and manage the Distillery, but also by the generations of people who've worked there, helping to create the world's most awarded single malt Scotch whisky.
