CAMPARI

Details

CAMPARI
Description:
Campari is a bitter Italian aperitif made according to a secret recipe originally developed in 1860 by Gaspare Campari in Milan. Campari is the result of a unique blend of aromatic herbs mellowed in selected spirit.

Campari is often mixed with soda and ice, but it is also consumed without a mixer and used in some cocktails. Regular Campari has an astringent, bittersweet flavour.

Review: Am I addicted to Campari? Probably! As well as the Negroni shown here, don't forget the related Americano. Also lovely with fresh orange juice, and topped up with Prosecco for a REAL treat. Mix with freshly squeezed blood orange juice and set with leaf gelatine, you also have one of the yummiest jellies known to man and woman-kind!

Review: A negroni is a mouth-wateringly delicious cocktail and campari is worth buying for this alone.
