A fine eau de vie with wild rose hip extracts from the world famous producers, Miclo of Alsace, with production starting either by fermentation or maceration, followed by distillation and a reduction of alcoholic strength.

Producer Information

A small artisanal distillery in the Vosges, where the Miclo family produce the finest eaux-de-vie from 22 different varieties of fruits. The brandies are all double distilled and then aged in inox tanks for a minimum of theee years.
Large quantities of fruit are needed to obtain the purity required; with Poire William it takes 28kg of fruit to produce one litre of brandy. The Grande Reserves are made from a finer fruit selection, left to age longer and bottled at a higher alcoholic degree.
