Description:
This 12 YO is produced from 80% Ugni Blanc which gives this Armagnac it's strength and balance, 10% of the blend is Folle Blanche which gives fruitiness and a delicate aroma and 10% is Colombard adding additional fruitiness.

The palate is rich and very rounded the strength of the alcohol is smoothed out by while remaining powerful with vanilla, woody and fruity aromas, which includes spiced hints of cinnamon.

The palate is full of rich elegant flavours of prune and orange with spicy hints giving rise to a long smooth finish.

Producer Information

Armagnac Comte De Lauvia is produced at Chateau de Champagne D'Armagnac, in the heart of the Gascony region of France. The castle's 200 acres of vineyards are planted with Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche grapes, the two grapes best suited to the production of Armagnac.
The Armagnac is aged and matured in an expansive cellar known as 'The Cathedral' stocked with 1800 casks of black oak from the local forests . The master blender chooses from different casks a blend of perfect harmony for each age of Armagnac. Comte de Lauvia has been recognised as one of the finest Armagnac's in the world with so many successes in international tasting competitions.
