Review: I first ran into F.B. many years ago in a Spanish bar prior to going out for dinner,which was our usual custom. I suddenly had a violent stomach ache, I have always had this problem. The barman saw I was almost doubled in pain and gave me a small glass with what I later found out to be F.B. I nearly believed in miracles,the pain eased almost as I drank. I took details and suitably rewarded the barman. Since when I always have stock of F.B. which must originate from Italy. Wonderful Fernet Branca.

Review: FB is a deeply aromatic and bitter drink that is often used as a \'stomach settler\' in Italy where even there it is an acquired taste! Which I DID acquire! I find it warming and very helpful neat in a small glass when I have a cramping stomach, and also very good if lengthened with soda or lemonade on a really hot day. I love the mint variety too.
