Corona Extra is lighter than traditional beers, with a crisp and refreshing taste.

This light, dry beer has pleasant malt and hop notes with a round dry finish.

Regardless of the time of the year, Corona is best served ice cold, with a wedge of lime that complements and intensifies the flavour through the palate.

It's the perfect beer to be enjoyed with a group of friends and is the ideal accompaniment to lighter foods and seafood.

Review: The best out there, I am very pleased with it. Very good to have after a rough day of hard work.

Review: Hmm... not convinced. Not treated hops and a clear glass bottle doesn't do much for the taste. Quite dry and not that refreshing. The lime in Corona is just a marketing thing, whereas it serves a purpose in Sol.

Review: This is different from your usual lagers, but in a nice way - it is crisp and very refreshing, if served with the chunk of lime in the neck, it can give you that great bitter blast. The one problem I found with corona is one bottle is not enough! Would certainly recommended it!

Producer Information

The company themselves state that their initial mission was to develop a distinguished array of products that would appeal to the critical tastes of Mexican consumers. Corona was first conceived as a thirst-quencher for manual workers. It was pretty much by chance that the beer became fashionable among southwestern Yuppies in the USA, and later encouraged Mexican brewers to focus their attention on this and other similar products.
