Review: You can find Moosehead fairly easy in the states, but else where it is a bit difficult. Very good find and buy here since I've been in the UK for the past 5 years. If your looking for a great tasting lager outside of Europe - you won't go wrong with this beauty.

Review: Discovered this when I was 18 & thanks to the web I discovered that I could buy it here at the age of 40 :-) Oh happy days.

Producer Information

Canada's oldest, and only remaining major independent brewery has a history that span's over one hundred years back to 1867, when Susannah Oland brewed a single vat of beer from the family recipes in her backyard in Nova Scotia.
Since that time, the strong, resilient and highly creative Olands have been able to keep the tradition alive despite fires, takeover bids prohibition, the depression, two world wars and destruction in the 1917 Halifax explosion.
Brewed with a century old commitment to quality and excellence, Moosehead products are unrivalled for their distinctive flavour and individuality. Only the most carefully selected ingredients are used by Moosehead's brewmaster in each brew, using a special strain of yeast, whose characteristics are a closely guarded secret.
