Only the very best Blackcurrant - Noir de Burgundy - highly reputed for its incomparable flavour and grown in a sunny and rich area of France, is used for the 'Creme de Cassis'.
The Cassis is picked on the ultimate and best moment and in accordance with unchanging tradition and selected rigorously. Close to the areas of production there is no deterioration of the fruit in transportation and the powerful aromas of freshly picked blackcurrants are preserved.
The maceration process begins straight away. Fresh blackcurrants are macerated in airtight stainless steel tanks which protect them from light and oxidation. No artificial aromas, no colours.
