Description: Distilled from the Trebbiano grape; the secrets of distilling this brandy were closely guarded by the descendants of the Medicis until they were passed on to the master distiller, the French Jean Bouton, whose family formed the first great Italian distilling company in 1820.
Today it is part of the Leading Italian independent spirits Company, having in its portfolio Vecchia Romagna and Amaro Montenegro: the two largest selling spirits in Italy. Vecchia Romagna is closely linked to the Italian way of life, to its sun, and the unique cultural heritage, presented from the outset of its highly original bottle and the label depicting the Roman god, Baccus.
Vecchia Romagna Riserva 10 years old is produced with the "Charentais" method.
Served in large brandy glasses and warmed slowly in your hands, it is a sophisticated pleasure for connoisseurs and perfect as an important gift for special occasions.
A great company tradition that dates back to 1820, when the refined French distiller Jean Bouton, the founder of the first steam distillery, arrived in Italy.
The following years, up to today, are studded with great successes connected with prestigious brands and products that have made a name for themselves throughout the world.
