The champagne is light gold with fine bubbles. The nose initially reveals notes of violets, brioche, toast and almonds which then gain subtle tones of leather and iodine - a characteristic of Chardonnays and signifying the mature development of this vintage.
The palate demonstrates a balance of fullness and strength, dominated by fresh fruit with hints of violets and aniseed.
Very elegant on its own, this Chardonnay will pair beautifully with seafood.
