Description:
Red Leg is a premium Caribbean rum, blended with spices.

It is distilled in the Caribbean and then brought to the UK for bottling. The secret to the great tasting flavour is down to the blending. The Rum is left to rest in old oak barrels and infused with Jamaican Vanilla and Ginger creating a very smooth tasting rum with a hint of sweet spice.

Nose: An instantly sweet smell of vanilla, followed by warming ginger aroma.

Taste: Initial sweetness on the pallet, followed by a bite of ginger. Refreshingly, satisfying combination of sweet and spice with a warming mouth feel.

Serve: Perfect served over ice with a splash of cola and a twist of lime.

RedLeg incorporates the motif of the RedLeg Hermit Crab native to the Caribbean and named for its bright legs. It captures the spirit of Caribbean culture being laid back with an "Irie" attitude, without a pirate in sight. Which makes it the
perfect drink to be enjoyed with friends.

Producer Information

Mark Dorman was working in San Francisco when he was offered a choice of 28 vodkas in a bar... and then he was asked if he wanted his coffee black or white. He thought it would be a great idea to offer drinkers a black vodka.

The colour of the vodka is changed by adding catechu, a herb found in southern Asia and central and east Africa.. Rich in tannin, catechu has no effect on vodka's flavour. However, many say it makes the vodka a little smoother.
