Agwa De Bolivia has 40 grams of Bolivian coca leaf per litre.

At the heart of Agwa are dry-roasted seeds of Amazon Gaurana and Chinese Ginseng.

The unique, bitter-sweet taste is a result of the distillation of many powerful flavours of S. America, most notably the coca leaf.

Inca messengers are believed to have chewed the leaves as a fuel to propel them at high speed through dense forest and today they are brewed as a tea in Peru to combat altitude sickness.

Agwa is the perfect drink to prepare you for the night ahead and the ideal flavour to stay with you until morning.

Try chilled as a shot or sip it gently with a mix of cola, tonic, ginger beer or bitter lemon .... or in any of the scores of 'coca-leaf cocktail' recipes out there.

Review: I'm sure it said drink responsibly somewhere on the bottle, I was never one for reading much anyway. My excitement when opening my new bottle on friday is a distant memory now Saturday came and went so did the contents. Remember kids drinking is for grown ups it's a shame there's none in my house.

Review: If you want a pick me up this is the drink for you. The bulb glasses u get in the box make it super easy to mix the right amount of Agwa with (brand name)energy drink. 3 shots like this when you get home from a hard nights dancing at your local night club & you'll be talkin chaff with ur mates till dawn break. Woop Woop ^^

Review: This drink was a great accompaniment to a night under the stars in a hot tub. The flavour wasn\'t the sort where you need to drink something else straight after to cleanse the palette. The Agwa glasses are great and it makes a great change to doing the usual vodka shots. I will be ordering more of this again and possibly even for Christmas presents for friends. Thank you for being the best site on the web to stock this fantastic drink!

Review: Easy to drink, easier to drink too much of this, something moreish about this drink that somehow sobers you up as you get more and more into it. As green drinks go this is a good one, but it is relatively low in alcohol. Mixes with fizzy water well and fresh lime. Energy drinks are recommended but they overpower its taste. I am very pleased with this drink and I recommend it to anyone who likes to stay awake whilst they are drinking... GOOD.

Review: Excellent. Every drink has its own buzz, and Agwa de Bolivia's is exciting. I don't care much for the "double bubble" cocktail they suggest (any energy drink and Agwa poured into their special glass which is included in the delivery), but the drink itself is fresh and smooth. I ordered my second bottle the day my first bottle arrived. A must for anyone who likes variety in their liquor cabinets.

Review: I bought a bottle of this for novelty value, and its actually really quite nice to drink, very stimulating and a nice feeling afterwards, tried it in shots and cocktails with equally good effects from both. Just bought another bottle here 5mins ago for my birthday party, which should go down very well with my guests. Thanks thedrinkshop for a very professional service.

Review: Just received my bottle of Agwa this morning, had a quick shot using the double bubble glasses supplied with it and can say it is well worth it! gives you a nice little buzz and though I was planning on saving it till Christmas day, I doubt I'll have any left by then! Lovely taste and smell! Top Notch!

Review: This stuff gave my New Years Eve party the lift it needed. Got everyone in the room to do a Bolivian Kiss shot and the next thing you couldn't get anyone to shut up or stop dancing! This is without a doubt the best new drink on the scene. Its my shot of choice and the Agwa Mojitos we made tasted great too. With my local now selling the stuff its becoming widely available and all me and my mates drink.

The best drink out there, Thank you Bolivia!

Review: Awesome stuff. First discovered it when I was in Amsterdam in the summer of 2008. After a few lagers the bar man shouted us a free shot and we proceeded to drink via the Bolivian Kiss method (lime, shot, lime again). Suffice to say that this was at around 12pm and we didn't get back to the hotel til gone 5am. Perfect to re energize yourself if you want a crazy night!

Review: In short, the drink tasted (according to my memory) like hair gel, not really special, but worth a try.

Review: Overnight, this has become the talking point of my party. This is truly an incredible drink! When you first open the bottle, a smell of it can be a little off-putting, but in actual fact this is one very nice drink with a taste all of its own. Unlike many shots, its not difficult to drink, there's no sharp and nasty twinges to leave you pulling faces, or battling with your stomach. The key element to this drink, lies in the form of a slice of lime. There are many different ways to do this, but we found that squeezing some lime juice into the shot just before drinking gave the best results. To describe this, think drinking five cans of Red Bull at once!

A 100% instant hit at the party. I originally ordered two bottles. This very next day I've just had to order a further six bottles. Everyone is wanting to join in!

Review: Hoo Hoo!!,
This is the daddy, it really is.
The previous reviewer is right, everyone wants to give it a try.
The Bolivian is definitely the way to do this, what I like to do is, shake it with ice before I pour it into shot glasses. You still get a full measure, but its nicer chilled, and the extra water breaks up a drink that's a little sweet and thick for my tastes. And with the lime makes it perfect.
And yes it does revive you a bit when you are flagging after having a few.
A very cool drink and my new favourite shooter.

Review: This is truly a legendary drink, as soon as people hear it has coca leaf in it (yes where cocaine comes from!) they just have to try it!
This drink has a unique flavour, in fact it's so unique I don't quite know how to explain it or what to compare it too, bitter sweet is probaly the best description. When using it as straight shots and the Bolivian Kiss (how we did the entire bottle) it has a nice citrus flavour and you do definitely get some energy/refreshed feeling due to the oxygen rush.
The Bolivian kiss is when you bite and suck some juce out of a lime slice, have a shot of Agwa, then bite into the lime again. The lime juice neutralises the Ph in your mouth and the coca leaf in the drink causes a oxygen release. Tastes and feels very nice, but this isn't a 'high' just a nice feeling. Also do not do too many! Can be dangerous apparently...
I would highly recommend this drink to anyone who likes to try something different and likes a lime flavour.
And as for the service from thedrinkshop, it was top notch. There was a genuine mistake that my bottle was delivered elsewhere but after a call to their office I was met with a top bloke who was very friendly and rushed my bottle out priority to a different address (at my request) and it was with me the next day!
So thank you lads and thank you Agwa for making my night the dogs (and me the center of attention :D) 10/10
