Description:
A lifted wine with vibrant tropical fruit aromas and a palate that shows subtle pear flavours with a touch of citrus giving the wine mid-palate complexity.

It's complimented by a soft acid structure and a lingering finish that will please most palates - a delightfully fresh wine.

Serve slightly chilled with salads, white meats, seafood, spicy Asian or Indian.

The Verdelho is made using only free run juice, and minimal skin contact prior to ferment. This has given expression to primary fruit characters. There is a combination of several fermentation parcels picked at varying ripeness levels providing added depth and complexity to the flavour profile. No oak was used in the production of this wine.

Producer Information

Two sisters running a winery? Absolutely - and doing a great job of it too, if the many awards and accolades are anything to go by!

Langhorne Creek has a history of viticulture dating back to 1860, producing some of the finest fruit in Australia, this was what determined Craig and Mignonne Willson to make the family home there in 1985. Little could they have known at the time whether a winemaking career would appeal to either of their young daughters.

In fact, the winery is now run by Rebecca (winemaker) and Lucy (marketing and sales) both passionate about working with Langhorne Creek fruit and promoting the area on a global scale. These sisters are clearly doing it for themselves with great aplomb.
