With its golden straw colour, Excellia Reposado reveals a complex nose mixing honey, toasted wood, mushroom, dried lavender, jasmine and violet notes.

The nine months ageing in grand cru sauternes wine casks and cognac barrels provide a round and extensive mouthfeel with rich honey, cigar-box, and caramelized-agave/pumkin notes mixed with subtle rancio and orchard fruits.

The finish is long and satisfying with spicy and earthy notes. Respecting the characteristics of a tequila from "Los Altos", Excellia reveals stunning and innovative aromas thanks to its unique ageing.

"With Excellia Reposado each sip tells you a different story making it a superbly provocative, unique and a "grande cuvee" Reposado."
Jean-Sebastien Robicquet.

Producer Information

Born from the partnership of two men and two know-hows, Excellia tequila marries to perfection the agave and grape characters, the wine and spirits worlds.
Excellia is a blend of authenticity and innovation built upon deeply rooted traditions.
Excellia is the fruit of the meeting of two visionary men:
Jean-Sebastien Robicquet, founder of EWG Spirits & Wine, groundbreaking brand creator and producer (G'Vine gin and esprit de June liqueur) and Carlos Camarena, precursor and award-winning tequila master-distiller (Tapatio and El Tesoro tequilas) and at the origin of the "Extra-Anejo" category.
Sharing the same common values, the two men respect the traditions, know-hows and the culture they're coming from while implementing their innovative vision to the spirit industry.
