A very attractive deep violet-red colour.

On the nose aromas of very ripe red fruits, cassis, dark chocolate and sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, with a touch of black pepper.

It is lush on the palate, with sweet tannins, extraordinary balance and a long, persistent finish.

Producer Information

Nativa began in 1995 as a part of Vina Carmen. Impressively, only four years later, in 1999, it became the first Chilean wine made with certified organic grapes. Today, it forms part of the Santa Rita group with Felipe Ramiez, a native of Chile, heading up the winemaking. Felipe has worked in Alsace, Burgundy, Bordeaux and the USA, and brings his skill, as well as his passion about the environment, back home to Chile. Actively involved in environmental projects in the local village of Pumanque, inlcuding an attempt to save a rare native flower called Tahay, Nativa`s commitment to the enviroment extends throughout their production to their bottles and labels, which are all made from recycled materials.
