Description:
This wine displays a gently spiralling set of bubbles through a pale golden hue.

The bouquet of the wine is filled with citrus, sweet pastry, apple and hints of floral aromas.

The palate has a crystalline purity, lime and gently toasted flavours and excellent soft textured bubbles.

The finish is long with pleasing dried citrus peel flavour.

Producer Information

Nyetimber was established in 1988 on what was regarded as the perfect site on which to make sparkling wine in the UK, on the South Downs in the heart of West Sussex. Just over 14 hectares of gentle, south facing slopes of greensand soil were planted with the traditional Champagne varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Ever increasing demand meant that the estate had to embark on a rapid expansion programme in 2005 and it has now grown to become one of the largest vineyards in the UK, comprising 177 hectares under vine.
The estate is currently owned and managed by Eric Heerema.
