Producer Information

Domaine FL is an exciting estate with 39 hectares of vineyards in some of Anjou`s most prized sites. Twenty one hectares cover Anjou, Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume, while 18 hectares line the slopes of the small hill of Epire in Savennieres, with four hectares of these in the highly-prized cru, Roche-aux-Moines. Loire fanatic Philippe Fournier founded the domaine in 2005, although the vineyards and winery have existed for far longer. His cellarmaster is Hugues Daubercies, but respected consultant Stephane Derenoncourt also advises on the winemaking. As expected from a combination of fine sites (all of which are either organic or in conversion), very low yieldsand meticulous winemaking, the quality of the wines is exceptionally high.
