Description:
The 2010 is distinguished by its fresh acidity so stylistically, it is more crisp with defined minerality than the 2009, which was riper, richer and fuller in style.

Deep yellow straw colour; the nose offers intense notes of pear, bread crusts and white peach.

The palate is broad and rich, with complex layers of fruit character before a long finish.

Producer Information

The four Cesconi brothers have transformed their family estate in the village of Pressano, in the past decade. Whereas they previously sold all their fruit to the co-op at Lavis, today they are making some of Italy`s most exciting white wines. Stylistically, their whites are more intense and perfumed than most from Friuli and slightly lighter, without the weight or fat that some of the top Friuli wines have. Their reds, on the other hand, have more weight than their Friulian counterparts.
