Light lemon-gold in colour, the Lamadoro Bianco is crisp, fresh and unoaked, allowing all the perfumes of ripe peaches, apricot and a touch of tropical fruit to shine through.

On the palate, it is clean and ripe, with the Sauvignon Blanc adding a lively freshness to the richer, more succulent Verdeca.

Producer Information

These wines are made by Filippo Baccalaro who, along with Valentino Sciotti, is part of the team that makes Vesevo and Gran Sasso. And as with all the wines made by Valentino`s teams across southern Italy, the Lamadoro wines are clean, bright, modern expressions of the best of Puglia.
The Salento Bianco, a blend of Verdeca and Sauvignon, is unoaked with lovely zip and freshness, while the Primitivo is forward, fresh and juicy.
