Available 02nd Oct 2014

The 2010 is dark ruby in colour and features aromas of dried red fruits and herbs that mingle nicely with the earthy notes of the forest floor and hints of wet stone.

This medium-bodied wine fills the front to mid palate with fresh summer strawberries while the fine tannins are nicely integrated into the wine making it approachable upon release.

Producer Information

Originally founded in 1981, Lyeth was one of the first wineries in California to blend Cabernet Sauvignon with the other major Bordeaux varieties. The†winery†built a formidable reputation during the 1980s, under the guidance of winemaker Bill Arbois, for the quality of its Cabernet and Merlot blends. When Burgundian Jean-Charles Boisset purchased the cult winery in 1994, he immediately contacted Bill and brought him back on board.
