Nebbiolo Grappa Riserve is matured in wooden casks for some years and then it is refined in Portoguese barrels for about 12 months.
These barrels had been previously used to maturing a "vintage Porto" of one of the most prestigious wineries.
This particulary kind of passage, already tried for whiskey, and experimented by Sibona Distillery on grappa, has proven to be
exceptional as regards to grappa's quality results.
Its particular and delicate bouquet and unique flavour, full and elegant with a fruity aftertaste, recall those of Porto.
