Description: Pulenta's La Flor range is part of a trilogy of excellence, the other components being the Estate wines and then, at the top, the Gran Corte family. La Flor wines are bottled young in order to capture naturally ripe and exuberant fruit, and are made for relatively early drinking.
Farmed at 1000 metres in the fashionable Lujan De Cuyo enclave of Mendoza, these Cabernet Sauvignon grapes enjoy a brief cold pre-fermentation maceration, which extracts colour and adds a real precision and purity to the fruit expression.
The fruit in this instance is dominated by plum and cassis, with a backdrop of spice, loganberry, eucalypt and bell pepper. A short period in barrel has added notes of vanillin and tobacco, yet the tannins are soft and the wine is approachable.

Pulenta family has been involved in the Argentine viticulture for three generations. Sons of the well known vinegrower Antonio Pulenta and descendants from Italian immigrants, Eduardo y Hugo Pulenta, gave birth to this winery in 2002, providing experience and the most qualified labour.
Their philosophy is a must: to achieve the best quality in their products, keeping an exclusive production and a permanent nature care.
'Making a great wine is an act of generosity, always considering the person who will taste it. Our mission is to produce limited series of great wines, proudly made in Argentina'.
