A delicate pale gold with silvery highlights, persistent bubbles giving an exceptional mousse.

The bouquet is subtle with suggestions of honey and a brioche which will become more noticeable with ageing.

A refreshing palate with crisp minerality, alongside citrus and white tropical fruits. A beautifully balanced finish that lingers on.

Drink now or age for three to four years.

The ideal aperitif. A great match for light canapes, shellfish or perfect with oysters.

100% Chardonnay.

Producer Information

Ridgeview is a family company dedicated to producing the highest quality sparkling wine from classic varieties and traditional methods, situated in the South Downs of England.

Ridgeview sparkling wines are named in honour of Englishman Christopher Merret who in London in 1662 was the first person to record the process of making traditional method sparkling wines, 30 years before the technique was documented in Champagne.

In just ten years of sales Ridgeview has been awarded over 100 medals and trophies. This culminated in the Grosvenor Blanc de Blancs trouncing top Champagnes to win Decanter Magazine’s Best Sparkling Wine in the World Trophy in 2010.
