Parés Baltà is a family owned winery established in 1790. They own 172 hectares of vineyards near Barcelona in Spain’s Penedés and Cava producing regions. They are a long-established winery combining the experience and tradition with young, fresh ideas from the new generation. Three generations work together in the vineyards. Today brothers Joan (33 years old) and Josep (30 years old) manage the winery together, watched over by their grandfather and father, both of whom still play an active part in wine production. The wines are distinctive and concentrated, while retaining elegance and balance. The wines are made by Maria Elena and Marta, Joan and Josep’s respective wives. The wines reflect the passion and perfectionism of these two talented young women. Parés Baltà has cultivated its grapes using organic methods since 1790.
