I then moved from Reading to Bristol for 2 years and worked as the General Manager of Big Chill.
After the winter season in France, I returned to Reading and joined the Milk team."

Q & A
If you could offer a couple of short pieces of advice to the average bartender, what would they be? Remember, it’s just cold drinks! Never work for free! You’re doing a great job! (thumbs up!)
Surely you have some pet peeves about bartenders -- care to share? Bartenders that hate on each other. We’re all in it together!
How did you get started? My first bartending job was at uni, a bar called Old Orleans.
How were you trained in bartending? I learned through doing.
Did you take any courses? Nope.
What are some trends you're seeing in the market? No and Low ABV cocktails. Milk punches. Increased interest in Agricole Rhum. People wanting less sweet/juice heavy drinks and a move to sophisticated flavours.
What's your process for creating a new cocktail? And what inspired you in the first place? No particular process, in the moment I run with it! Depends what mood I’m in!
What is your favourite cocktail to make? Daiquiri.
What are some of your favourite tools? Ones that work!
What is your favourite mixology resource? My friends, peers, experiencing other bars/venues and books.
What does success mean for you? No debt!
Where do you see yourself in five years? Hopefully, a successful bar owner.
If you weren't in the drinks industry, what do you think you would be doing now? Honestly no idea! This industry is what I do!
Your biggest career influencer? The freedom to be creative, job satisfaction and day to day enjoyment.
First drink you ever tried? Strongbow in the park.
We've all had a bad experience with at least one drink. What drink do you most avoid? Sambuca.
Your hangover cure? An ice-cold can of coca-cola.
