Goslings Rum in partnership with NationalToday.com is proud to announce that June 23th 2020 will now be known as International Dark ’n Stormy® Day. In 1980 Goslings Limited first began exporting its flagship product, Goslings Black Seal Rum to the United States, and International Dark ’n Stormy celebrates the 40th anniversary of Goslings registering the Dark ‘n Stormy trademark in Bermuda.

The Dark ‘n Stormy: a refreshing blend of Goslings Black Seal Rum, Ginger Beer and lime, is a classic mixed drink, and one of only a handful of cocktails whose ingredients are protected by a trademark and available in a convenient ready-to-drink can.

International Dark ‘n Stormy Day festivities will be hosted virtually, with a variety of content on social media including interviews, demonstrations, food recipes, virtual tours and a worldwide toast.

“Today is the day to celebrate all things Dark ’n Stormy. An opportunity to thank all of our loyal fans who have helped make the Dark ’n Stormy one of the most popular cocktails in the world.” E. Malcolm Gosling, President and CEO of Goslings International Limited.

Both Industry partners on the island and internationally will join our social platforms for live content and share tales of their experiences of the iconic cocktail.

To celebrate Dark ‘n Stormy Day, Goslings has also teamed up with partners in Bermuda and overseas to offer a selection of prizes for those engaged with Goslings on social channels.

The festivities kick off at 15:00 (BST) and will be streamed live via Goslings Rum Facebook page, @GoslingsRum Instagram and Twitter. Goslings are inviting cocktail enthusiasts to use the hashtag #darknStormyDay and tag @goslingsrum to join the celebrations.
