Layered Cocktail Recipes

Fascinating and curious. To make a layered cocktail, always pour the heaviest liquid (that with the least alcohol) in the glass first, before adding the next and so on, until the glass is near full to the top.

To layer, use the back of a bar spoon, positioned just above your first layer, and gently pour the next drink over the back of the spoon to settle on the top. Shooter glasses work best because if there is too much surface area in a wider glass, the top layer may merge into that below.
