Triple Sec

Triple Sec is a zesty orange liqueur produced by steeping orange peels in a neutral spirit before re-distillation, and before the addition of sugar and further alcohol.

Cointreau is the best known triple sec and it is they who are said to have created the term triple sec, not necessarily meaning triple dry when translated from French, but because of their use of three different types of orange peel in their recipe.

A Cosmopolitan cocktail wouldn't be the same without it.
