The highest expression of the finesse of wine made from the Nebbiolo grape is certainly retrievable in Barbaresco. The production of this wine is very limited, as only in positions suited the towns of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive you can plant vineyards of Nebbiolo for its production. Michele Chiarlo always followed in this prestigious area some of the basics for the production of fine wine: choosing land suited with excellent exposure, limiting the yield per vine and follow carefully the vinification and aging. These are the only "secrets" of the quality of Barbaresco Michele Chiarlo.
Aging: 18 months in French oak cask aging: at least 6 months in bottle
