Deep red in colour, La Croix Bonneau 2007 is a blend of 95% Merlot, which gives spice, damson fruit and cassis aromas, plus 5% Cabernet Franc to give firm tannins and a touch of red berry flavour on the palate.
Ageing in top quality French oak barrels has given a complex, mellow, long finish without overpowering the juiciness of the Merlot fruit.
