Bailie Nicol JarvieDelicate Blend
Colour: Pale gold. Like a sunset over the field of Bannockburn.
Nose: In connoisseur speak, it's sweet and well balanced, with notes of vanilla, pears, possibly violets, some nuts and fresh hay.
Taste: A full flavour with a trace of smoke and a body like a supermodel's (beautiful and light). It's silky smooth with a slight lemon tartness that counters the rich maltiness and almost chewable grain. Oh, and did we mention it had a body like a supermodel's?
Finish: Warm and balanced with a slight smokiness. Long for such a delicate blend, with malt and toffee really tickling your toungue. Also leaves strong hints of disapointment on your palate as you stare at your empty glass.
