This is more like a cognac than a rum. It suits more to hot chocolate than drinking it with ice or cola. I will use it for caramel ice cream, schtolen and hot drinks.

This is better than many rums for mixing, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd prefer it to Captain Morgan, but would only choose it over Lambs if I wanted a change.

Myers is a blend of nine rums, all pot stilled and made purely from Jamaican molasses. Myers has a distinctly sweet almost liqueur-like taste, burnt wood and caramel bouquet. This is rum make no mistake, not something I would drink straight, but it works perfectly well in tropical cocktails.
