Jack Daniel's Silver Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey returns to the simplest days of the distiller's art when whiskey was crafted and sold by the barrel, each with its own individual taste.

Each barrel of this select 100 proof (50% abv) whiskey is aged in a unique location within the warehouse where the whiskey's colour and taste mature in extra measure.

Because Silver Select is a single barrel whiskey, bottles drawn from individual barrels offer subtle differences in nose, colour and taste.

It is a single barrel with a singular taste that could only be crafted by the Jack Daniel Distillery.

Well what can I say really. I have been knocking back old no.7 for some time now I have seen other JD drinks about but never tried them. However, for the first time today I tried silver select and it is just perfect. It has such a great kick to it however it is not one to knocking back to quick due to the cost! I give it a 11 out of 10.

This whiskey relly is a step up from Single barrel and well worth putting on your Christmas list. A fine drink straight or on the rocks. Not to be ruined with coke!!!

After drinking JD no.7 for the last 15 years I have just had my first taste from a bottle of "Silver select" (bought for me by my wonderful wife, Jane) and I must say ...WOW! To add a mixer of any kind would be a crime as this Whiskey tastes so good on its own... I can't believe the jack Daniels distillery makes this drink without some sort of heavenly intervention. If you have not yet tried it you really must, I have to say Silver Select is "HEAVENLY". I can't imagine drinking anything else from this day on.

As a big J.D drinker when I first heard about the silver select I couldn't wait to try it and now i have i will tell you all about the great taste and fine body of this drink. The first time you taste it you know that this is gonna be the drink for you, its a bit stronger than the old 7 but it tastes mighty fine.
