Benoit Serres - Violette Liqueur
French Classic
A violet-flavoured liqueur made with the oil of violets and vanilla.
This subtle and delightful liquer brings the essence of South West France to life in a glass. It is great dribbled into a very dry sparkling white wine and is a perfect aperitif on a balmy summers evening. Also perfect as a pre-dinner entree, especially if the theme of violets is running through the menu. Try Benoit Serres as suggested above, followed by a mango and blueberry sorbet, rack of lamb with fresh summer medley of vegetables dribbled with a violet and blackberry jus. To finish, a chocolate souffle served with blackcurrent coulis and fresh cream.
