Smirnoff's new Nordic vodka, distilled using Nordic berries and as a consequence, is a pale blue.
Best drunk neat and over ice.
Nice, but too strong to really appreciate the flavour. The Greek version is 20% volume (this is 37% volume) and in my opinion far nicer - perfect on the rocks. Trouble is, can't get the 20% version over here! (Ed. We've added this to our requested product list so we will have a good look)
An absolutely unique flavour. Fantastic in a tall glass with lemonade and ice. A drink you can definitly recommend to anyone, not only vodka drinkers. 5 stars in my book, and i'm not a vodka drinker.
Original, great tasting vodka. I've converted friends with this, so it shouldn't be under estimated!! I believe this can stand along with Black Label and Penka as Smirnoff's proudest acheivements.
Well since time began for me I have drank all spirits as shots. After my younger years shooting vodka in vast quantities became harder so I saw this and thought I would give it a try.
As mentioned it looks strangely beautiful, not bright, just a more subtle beauty. The twist of Nordic fruits(?!) makes it a lot nicer than usual vodka yet it still has a kick to it. Don't think this will have no 'fire' to it because it does but its a nice change. Wouldn't always get it though...
I usually can't drink vodka due to harsh tastes. This is probably down to cheap 'house vodkas'. However a friend recomended this to me and it is a lot lighter than others and it has a more subtle taste. You can't tell really that it is a vodka based drink. I know the feeling of 'having tasted it before' I came to the conclusion having mixed it with lemonade and a splash of lime that it is very simular to the old vodka mixer drink called 'Metz'. I havent seen that for a while and that was my favourite 'alco pop' as it was back in the day.
A very nice drink, I like it.
This flavoured vodka has a synthetic-tasting blueberry/orange flavour to it. Delicious for the first glass, but you will be bored quite quickly.
Well, what can I say... Given that this is the same strength as Smirnoff Red, I expected it to have the same fiery harsh taste.
The nose is of orange groves and the colour is strangely beautiful. The taste is arguable. A few friends and I had some of this yesterday and opinions were severly divided.
Most of us thought it was lovely, others hated it, nobody was in the middle. None of us could agree what the flavour was of, but it seemed familiar to everyone, personally, I think it tastes of calpol, about 15 years ago.
Should be drunk neat over ice, or mixed with lemonade, neat, you'll either love it or hate it, mixed with lemonade it's more friendly to everyone.
