Key Information

Voted the world's best gin at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2011!

Whitley Neill is an independent, family run company with 4 generations of distilling heritage behind it. The first Premium London Dry Gin to truly - focus on African Botanicals - The fruit of the African Baobab Tree, the "Tree of Life", and Cape Gooseberries (Physalis) .

Using traditional methods but contemporary botanicals, Whitley Neill is distilled in very small batches in an antique copper pot still (over 100 years old), ensuring the highest quality for each batch. Unlike harsher 'Old style' London Dry Gins the softer, flavour profile of Whitley Neill means that it can also be drunk neat over ice.

Awards: Double Gold Medal - San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2007; Gold Medal 'Best in Class' International Wine and Spirits Competition 2007; Gold Medal - Chicago Beverage Testing Institute (BTI) - Rated "Exceptional" - 91 Points.

After falling in love with their Quince Gin, I had to try this one and though utterly diffrent, it is worthy its awards. Strong and lightly spicy, delicate tastes of tropical fruit, well balanced with botanicals, wonderful just on its own, an other Gin for my shelf Cant wait to have the Rhubarb and Ginger in my cuboard

Along with Saffron Gin and Hendricks (both available here), these are the best Gins I know of. Far better than Tanqueray or Bombay Sapphire in my opinion. But I have yet to try Bulldog, Sacred, or the London No 1 Blue Gin which are high on my list to get. But these will have to be very good to beat Whitley, Saffron or Hendricks...

This Gin is amazing. I was given a battle 2 Christmases back as a present and have not looked back since. Excellent flavour and makes a mean G&T.
