Bacardi. OK, its not exciting, but it makes a nice change from Smirnoff. Makes a nice Cuba Libre with Coke and a squeeze of lime.
Great rum for mixing if drinking neat buy something else.
Ahh.. Bacardi. I am getting a headache just thinking about its harsh and medicinal taste. Its like Smirnoff vodka, Bells whisky, Gordon's gin, and Sierra tequila, all fine if you don't know any better, a bog standard bulk spirit. I just can't bring myself to drink them, if I went to a bar where only these were available, I would have a beer.
This is an odd experience. It does not deserved to be called rum. I wouldn't use it as a substitute for petrol. But it sells and if you don't know what you want buy this and be disappointed.
