Colour - Gold.
Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Sweet, earthy aromas - birch and moss. Slightly phenolic with hints of soft fruits - peaches. Palate: Spicy with cedar wood, dry grass and a fragrant note. Slightly creamy - white chocolate.
With water: Nose: Spicies - aniseed with a slight nuttiness developing. Hints of dried fruits raisins and prunes. Palate: Spices again with leather and tobacco flavours. Some fruity notes also detectable.
Body: Medium. Finish: Slightly phenolic. Cask type: Refill Bourbon Barrels. Style: A lesser known Highland Malt with a distinctive smoky edge.
