Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Sweet and fruity - pear drops with a slight floral note, hints of charred oak. Palate: Smoky (ash), sweet spices - liquorice and aniseed. Burnt fruits.
With water: Nose: Fruits - red apples and sherry notes. Sweet toffee element with some roasted malt. Palate: Smoky with sweet fruitcake flavours, some nutty/oily notes.
Body: Finish: Cask Type: Whisky Style: Body: Rounded. Finish: Sweet, subtle sherry. Cask type: Refill Sherry Casks. Style: Rich, aromatic and balanced with a Sherry sweetness.
