Highland Malt Whisky
Colour: Pale yellow.
Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Sweet and malty with a distinct peaty note. Hints of leather and some briny/ozone notes. Palate: Sweet, oily with peat and creosote flavours. Again the malty notes are present with a drying spiciness.
With water: Nose: Earthy with heathery notes. A little cereal and malt with a hint of bonfire smoke. Palate: Smoky with sweet, cedar wood and spices. Rich fruit notes and an oily, earthy flavour.
Body: Complex. Finish: Sweet and rich - hint of smoke. Cask type: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Style: Full flavoured Highland malt with strong peatsmoke elements.
