One of the best pairings for the delicate smoothness of Lanson Ivory Label is with fruit and dessert.
To the eye : A yellow straw colour with glints of old gold, a reminder of the Pinot Noir in the blend.
On the nose : Aromas of ripe fruit, cinnamon, and honey.
On the palate : Fruity, very full, all roundness and sensuality.
The dosage is a skilled act that has been improved and refined over the years. In the 19th Century, Demi-Sec (half dry) was the pre-dominant champagne style.
Grape: 35% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier.
