Speyside Malt Whisky
Colour: Orange gold.
Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Sherry notes with ripe fruits. A hint of chocolate and toffee. Subtle hints of dry grass and heather blossom. Palate: Peppery and warming. Sherry and oak flavours - toasted. Some malty notes with a green (cooking) apples finish.
With water: Nose: Aromatic, sweet. Mulled fruits with floral, lavender aromas. Palate: Delicate smokiness with cedar wood and black pepper. Burnt fruitiness and a subtle minty note.
Body: Mellow. Finish: A developing fruitiness. Cask Type: Refill Sherry Butt. Style: Warming - a dram to keep out the winter chill.
