Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Rich, mulled fruits, menthol and eucalyptus elements. Sweet spices - liquorice and aniseed. Palate: Smoky with sweet treacle toffee flavours. Dried fruits - sultanas and figs. Hints of aniseed and cinnamon.

With water: Nose: Dark chocolate and sherrywood, subtle fragrant aromas - lavender. Rich spices still evident. Palate: Drier with more smoke, some hessian and leather notes. Resinous with sherried flavours.

Body: Rich and full. Finish: Sherry with a smoky edge. Cask Type: First Fill Sherry Butt. Whisky Style: A classic sherry matured whisky - remarkable smoothness, even at cask strength.
